Enjoy life. There's plenty of time to be dead.

Pit. Pat. Pit. Pat. Rain casted its pour upon every speck and span of the streets of Go city. People to and fro on the busy roads ran for shelter.

However, on one street, stood a woman covered in a simple trench coat, black bell bottoms, and a modest olive green turtle neck. Letting the slick rain clash against her body, the woman glared into the sky with her frosty, green eyes hidden behind shades, left hand clenched tightly against her side purse and foot tapping impatiently . It was almost as if she was challenging the weather to let her stay in her place for whatever purpose she had. One foot tapping ever slowly, as if waiting for someone.

And if that was the case, she had not needed to wait any longer. "Shego."

"Thank God! You guys-" Shego paused in her words when she saw who was speaking to her. Jaw tightening, arms stiffening, the woman was unexpectantly surprised and peturbed by the person before her. She was hoping to meet her little, twin brothers, Will and Watson. To the rest of the world, they were known as Wego, heros of Team Go. 'A silly name indeed', thought Shego briefly. 'Hiro and I should have given them seperate names instead of something so ridiculous. '

Shaking her head, Shego glared at the man standing before her. He seemed like your average buff man, wearing a simple, white polo shirt and khaki pants, with a simple raincoat adorning his body. In his right hand, he held a large, blue umbrella to repell the rain from his enormous stature. 'He hadn't changed', thought the plasma thrower.

Just to prove her point, she decided to irrate the boy before her. "Hego..."

"Shego, what did I tell you about saying my identity out loud?" Hiro Go also known as Hego of Team Go gave his younger sister a bemused and grim expression of
displeasure. "You're still the snappy prick I remember all those years. Apparently two years away from us did you little good."

"Stuff it, Hiro!" Snarled the woman. She didn't come here to get a lecture in how she was to be as a 'lady'. "Where's Will and Watson?"

"After leaving us for so long, you have the nerve to call them? I told them to stay home. It took some persuading, but at least they are safe from you." Hiro glared down upon Shego with the expression of a father who was chiding his child.

"Safe? What the fuck do you think I was gonna do to them!? They're my brothers for fuck sake! Unlike you, you never cared about anyone but yourself! Why'd you think I leave!?" Although this wasn't the complete truth, the woman wasn't about to admit to the deep wedged guilt she felt after the last mission she had took with her siblings in Team Go. She wasn't going to add more boost to this bull headed man's ego.

"Shea!"

"Fuck you, Super Hero(Hiro)!! Fuck you! Don't you ever call me that! You of all people, have no right." Shego lunged and slammed the man into the nearest pole, causing the huge figure to grunt . "All I wanted was to see how they were doing. All I wanted was to give them a hug and tell them I missed the peep squeeks. Yet, you have the nerve to say I'd hurt them!? After the last thing I did for you guys!? Screw you!"

Not caring to see what else her eldest brother had to say, Shego stormed off the opposite direction where her brother stood.

Just like his sibling, he too wasn't one to give in. "Hey! I'm still talking!"

"You always are! You never stop!" Shego twirled on her high heels to give Hiro one final stare as a hint to cease fire in his vicious tirade, but the man would not.

"Why do you always have to be a smart ass with me!?" The leader of Team Go slammed his umbrella to the ground as he waved his arms in complete frustration. Even though he forced the twins to stay, he thought if he went, he could talk to Shego casually and maybe, just maybe somehow get her to come back! Yet, seeing how the two clashed, it was a wonder as to what made him believe what chance he had to get her to come home.

"Someone's gotta, Superman." Shego gave the boy one last vicious smirk as she twirled once more to head toward the direction where she parked her car.

That did it. All peace talk was over and Hego was steaming. "HEY! FOR ALL YOUR TALK! HAVE 'YOU' GOT WHAT YOU WANTED!? HUH!? MISS 'I'M THE BEST THIEF'!?"

Shego gritted her teeth as she continued her walk. 'Just two more streets down and to your left, Shego. Just two more streets. Keep walking. Don't think. Don't hear.' Shego continued this mantra, hoping it would give her the patience to ignore the big, blue ogre. However, the next words tugged at Shego's heart. Whatever layed frozen there had just thawed enough for the girl to feel a sense of remorse and pain.

"What about a family! Or at least someone to love! If mom were--"

"Mom's dead!" Grinding her teeth, eyes shut, and body bent forward slightly to the cold, rough concrete ground, Shego let out a hallow sob.

'Of all people to mention, he had to go for the one that wretches my heart... Hiro, you jerk!' Shego forced herself to control her emotions as she spoke her next words carefully and slowly.

"I... I threw love out the door a long time ago..." If she had turned her head just slightly to look back, the girl might have saw a quiet and painful expression on her brother's face. A face filled with disapproval, but most of all sadness and pity. Sadness that she would rather be alone and pity for the unplesant path that laid before her if she did abandon her heart. However, she could care less what he had to say. Instead she just wanted to leave quickly. "Good bye, Hiro."

With an air of finality, the plasma thrower walked brisquely through the rain and whatever love she had for anything stayed on the street. She was wrong to have returned to a city that had no love for her or a family that would keep one another from seeing her. There was no love left for her and that-- Was fine.

Gazing to the storming grey clouds, she let the rain plaster against her face as a few hair strands caressed her face in a windy disarray. It didn't matter, all that did was that the rain keep pressing against her to clean the pain away. As long as it made her feel a little bit cleaner, a little bit more stronger, that was all that mattered. From here on out, she was alone and that was all there was to it. Shea Go was gone. She died in that incident that was her last day of heroics and out came Shego, lone thief extraordinaire. She could handle living this life. She had too. Why? She wasn't sure, but she knew it. Shaking whatever else clouded her mind, the woman climbed into her vehicle and turned the ignition. Taking a deep breathe, Shego stepped on the pedal and in little time, disappeared from Go city.
